Biography

Born in L’Aquila, she started very young her vocal studies in her hometown’s Conservatory graduating with full marks under Antonella Cesari, perfecting both in Italy and abroad (Salzburg’s Mozarteum, Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien) and was chosen for the role of Aninka in Hans Krása’s Brundibar at the Austrian Parliament for the remembrance day of the liberation of Mauthausen’s concentration camp. She mastered her vocal technique with sopranos Mariella Devia and Antonella D’Amico, won several competitions – notably the VI Concorso Internazionale Renata Tebaldi in San Marino – and from 2018 to 2020 was trained in the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia.

She then appeared in: Le nozze di Figaro at the Schloss Schönbrunn Theater in Wien and in Valencia; the world premiere of Nicola Campogrande’s De bello Gallico with Elio and Francesco Micheli in Florence; the world premiere of Alberto Colla’s Delitto e dovere (Duchess of Paisley and Jane Peccy) at the 65° Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto and at Teatro Coccia in Novara; Rigoletto (Gilda) in Teramo; Un ballo in maschera (Oscar), Il barbiere di Siviglia and Carmen (Frasquita) in Tianjin and Harbin; Die Zauberflöte (Königin der Nacht) in Jerez de la Frontera, Cordoba and for the show Intimissimi On Ice at Arena di Verona.

On the concert platform she appeared in: a Concert for the 10th anniversary of Luciano Pavarotti’s death at Arena di Verona; the world premiere of Nicola Campogrande’s Hello, World at the Auditorium in Milan; a Concert with Academia Montis Regalis for MiTo Festival; several concerts with music by Ennio Morricone.

Among her recent and future engagements: Martyn y Soler’s Il tutore burlato (Menica) in Valencia; her debut at Teatro San Carlo in Il Trovatore (Ines) conducted by M° Marco Armiliato; Dido and Aeneas (Second woman) at Teatro Massimo in Palermo; Adriana Lecouvreur (M.lle Jouvenot) and the Gala concert Fuoco di gioia conducted by M° Donato Renzetti at Teatro Regio in Parma; concerts at MiTo Festival with Academia Montis Regalis; Suor Angelica (Suor Genoveffa) and Gianni Schicchi (Nella) at Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
