Biography

Born in Fiesole, he got his degree in singing at the Conservatorio “L. Cherubini” in Florence. He attended the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro under Alberto Zedda, making his debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Il viaggio a Reims (Cavalier Belfiore).

Extremely active also on the concert platform, his wide repertoire includes: Rossini’s Stabat Mater at the Kioi Hall di Tokyo; Rossini’s Messa di Gloria in Beirut with the Lebanese Philarmonic Orchestra; Naumann’s Messen. 19 in Dresden; Rossini songs at the Grosser Sall Die Glocke for Musikfest Bremen; Schubert’s Mass in E-flat major, D 950 at Teatro Verdi in Florence; Carmina Burana in Genova and Mumbai with the Symphony Orchestra of India; Mozart’s Krönungsmesse with the Orchestra Regionale Toscana; Schubert’s Messa in Sol maggiore in Padova; Monteverdi’s Salve Regina in Cape Town and Pretoria; Mozart’s Litanie Lauretane in Jesi; Stravinskji’s Pulcinella in Bologna, Wexford, at Teatro della Pergola in Florence and at Teatro dei Rinnovati in Siena.
