Born in Lithuania, she starts her music studies at a very young age first in her native country, making her debut as Zerlina in Don Giovanni with the Lithuanian National Opera, and then in England at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Ann Howells and t hen at the Cardiff International Academy of Voice with Dennis O’Neill.
She has won several International Competitions: Opera Rara Bel Canto Prize in 2006, “Ravello, città della Musica”, “Maria Caniglia” in Sulmona and “Renata Tebaldi” in San Marino, where she is also awarded in the lieder section.
She starts a brillant career singing: Pikovaja Dama with Lithuanian Symphony Orchestra; Handel’s Rinaldo (Eustazio) with the Royal Academy of Music in London; the world premiere of Caligula at the Frankfurt Oper; Beatrice et Benedict (Ursula) in Chicago; Così fan tutte (Dorabella) at Covent Garden in London, at the Palm Beach Opera and in Vilnius; Idomeneo (Idamante) conducted by Fabio Biondi at the Amsterdam Koncertgebouw, in Lisbon, at the Barbican in London, Klagenfurt and at the Colón in Buenos Aires; Le nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) with the Salzburg Festival at the Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, at Covent Garden in London; Die Tote Stadt and The Gambler conducted by Antonio Pappano at Covent Garden in London; Salome (Page) at the Festspielhaus Baden Baden, The Tzar’s bride at Covent Garden in London; The Makropoulos case (Kristina) at the Salzburg Festival conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen; Pergolesi’s Lo frate ‘nnamorato (Nina) with Fabio Biondi at the Pergolesi Festival in Jesi, Evgenij Onegin (Olga) in Vilnius; Roméo et Juliette (Stephano) at the Palm Beach Opera; Le nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) at the Welsh National Opera in Cardiff; Pelléas and Mélisande (Mélisande) directed by David Pountney in Cardiff and Vilnius; Hansel und Gretel (Hansel) in Vilnius and Cardiff; Janacek’s The Cunning little vixen in Klagenfurt and at the Opéra de Lille; Detlev Glanert’s Caligula (Scipio) and Idomeneo (Idamante) at Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires; Das Rheingold at the Ruhr Triennale; Salome conducted by Nicola Luisotti at Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Lulu (Ein Groom) at Teatro Comunale in Bozen.
