Biography
Regarded as one of the world‘s most important lyric-coloratura sopranos, she is highly acclaimed for the depth of her interpretations and her huge versatility.
In France she has been awarded with the prestigeous medal of “Chevaliers des Arts et Lettres” from the Ministry of Culture, for her artistic merits. She has won also the “La Siola d’oro” Prize in Cesena as best soprano.

She has recently made significant debuts: at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino as Elle in Poulenc’s La voix humaine, at Teatro Regio in Parma as Hélène in Verdi’s Jérusalem (conducted by Daniele Callegari and directed by Hugo de Ana) and in the title role of Donizetti’s Lucrezia Borgia at Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse (conducted by Giacomo Sagripanti and directed by Emilio Sagi).
